We love hosting celebrations at Turn Off The Lights! If your party size exceeds 8 people, please contact us at hannah@turnoffthelights.co.uk to discuss arrangements.

Do you do collaborations?
Yes! We absolutely love collabing with other local businesses! If you are interested in what's coming up, check out our Instagram account at @turnoffthelightsx where we announce and promote upcoming events.
Will you be doing workshops at other venues?
Absolutely! We will continue to tour around Kent hosting workshops with other venues please keep a eye on our socials @turnoffthelightsx for more information.1. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch each time before burning. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning.
2. Let the wax pool completely across each time you light it.
3. We recommend you don't burn longer than 4-5 hours at a time. This will prevent excessive heat build up.
4. Keep your candle within sight! Try not to move your candle unless the wax is completely dry.
5. Please remove ALL toppings from candles before burning this includes, petals, dried fruits, wooden toppers anything that is flammable. This is for decoration purpose only!
6. Do not burn all the way to the bottom of the container, leave at least 0.5 inch of wax at the bottom before finishing the candle. This will ensure the candle doesn’t explode due to no wax left to burn.
How do I prepare my candle to repurpose or refill?
1. Stop burning your candle when there is still 1/4 inch of wax left.
2. Place your vessel in the freezer overnight or until frozen.
3. Remove candle from freezer and use a dull knife such as a butter knife to crack the wax.
4. Pop out wax pieces and remove wicks (you may need to continue to use the dull knife for this).
5. Wash your vessel with soap and water and you are ready to go!
